"I was in prison and you came to vist me" Matthew 25:36

Kairos of Maine Torch

The Kairos Torch program is directed at incarcerated youth and is part of the Kairos Prison Ministry.

It's goal is to introduce God and His unconditional love and acceptance to young offenders and encourage them to realize their potential and learn what life can be like in a loving, caring and trusting community.
It begins with a weekend experience (Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon) shared by the youth and volunteers and is followed by one on one mentoring of the youth.

If you have ever wanted to work with incarcerated youth, but were concerned about how to start or doing it alone, the Torch program is ideal for you.

The need is great, the kids are receptive and you may change a life. Why not find out if this is for you?
